Video Pipe Inspection in Forsyth County, GA

A plumber can easily tell you that your whole plumbing system is shot and you need repiping, even when you don’t. That’s not how we work at DC Cheek Heating, Cooling & Plumbing! In fact, one of the promises we make to our customers throughout Johns Creek, GA and along the North 400 Corridor is that we’ll be honest, even when it’s not popular to give customers power over their plumbing system. We want you to make an educated decision!

You can rely on an honest assessment of your plumbing system when something goes wrong. We’re able to provide this by performing video pipe inspection—when we insert a cable with a small camera on the end down your pipes, and we watch the feed on a laptop screen or tablet. This gives our Johns Creek plumbers a comprehensive look without the need to excavate your plumbing pipes from behind walls or beneath your property.

Let us professionally assess your plumbing system with video pipe inspection so we can make honest recommendations for plumbing repairs—and get that system “Fixed, At the Speed of Life!” Contact our team today to get started!

When You Need Video Pipe Inspection

Video pipe inspection equipment involves the use of a long, fiber-optic cable that can be snaked down the entire length of a drainpipe and sewer line. The tip of the cable has a miniaturized digital camera and powerful LED light that allows us to view what’s going on in your plumbing system via a video monitor that the camera is feeding back to.

To inspect the interior of your pipes, our plumbers insert the camera end through a drain opening or clean-out. The camera and light sends back high resolution images to the video monitor, where our professional plumbers can analyze the situation inside the pipes.

The Benefits for Your Plumbing System

When our team of experts uses the images sent back from a video pipe camera, we can ascertain a great deal of information to help us determine what exactly you need in terms of plumbing work. For instance, video pipe inspection may allow us to determine precisely where a leak is located so that section of pipe can be accessed directly with minimal damage to your property or the surrounding pipes.

Our plumbers can also determine the nature of damage to pipes that are hidden from sight, and discover before even starting work the ideal approach to conduct repairs correctly the first time. Lastly, video pipe inspections help us determine what kind of drain cleaning you might need, and if additional repairs are necessary. For instance, hydro-jetting will clear out tree roots, but those tree roots will have caused damage that must be remedied.

Video pipe inspection is one of the many tools our licensed and experience plumbers use to determine a plumbing problem’s diagnosis and conduct repairs. We want you to be 100% satisfied with the work done on your plumbing system, and that can’t happen if we aren’t accurately finding out what’s going on inside your pipes to begin with.

After all, one of our core beliefs is to "think twice, act once." Video pipe inspection allows us to get a broad view of what we’re looking at, versus literally going in blind.
